One of our biggest challenges so far has been the online multiplayer mode which has been in the works since the beginning. We both have virtually no experience in this field, but thankfully, Google does. Since our game is built in XNA with the .NET Framework, we had to break out of the Microsoft framework for online, which only works if everyone has a membership to their service. Our workaround for this has been Lidgren, which is a networking library specifically designed for the .NET Framework. We are in the early stages of testing the client-server network, and so far the framework is basically done, but there are still a lot of bugs and tweaks that need to be made. As we move forward with content updates, we will keep you guys updated on online multiplayer as we squash the bugs. Meanwhile, please help spread the word about our game and thanks for supporting us!
